Ebac Group was founded in 1972 by John Elliott MBE DL, to exploit the dehumidifier market - EIPL's core business

EIPL is a privately owned company, with it's main manufacturing facility in Bishop Auckland, Co. Durham. England

EIPL's core skills are designing, manufacturing, and marketing refrigeration based systems, our key product lines include Dehumidifiers and Air Conditioning systems

Our products are sold in over 20 countries throughout the world, with exports now accounting for over 50% of the companies annual turnover
We were the first British company to see the potential of dehumidifiers in the UK market. The first units were designed in the early 1980's. Since then EIPL has remained brand leader in a market which has increased to over 100,000 units per annum.
Over the years EIPL has faced increased competition, but has been able to maintain it's position by constantly improving the specification of the product, primarily in the areas of sound reduction and design. These are important requirements within the European markets.
