One year parts/labor, and three years for the sealed refrigeration system all against manufacturers defects.
A 50% humidity setting can be achieved by setting the knob to approximately the mid position.
The humidistats used in Ebac's products have a effective operating span of 80% to 20% +/- 5%. The lowest number, widest portion of a graduated scale or turining the knob fully anticlockwise, equates to setting of 80%
The accounting package we use is a UK based system therefore our dates are printed in the UK format(DD/MM/YYYY)

A desiccant dehumidifier is a device that employs a desiccant material to produce a dehumidification affect. The process involves exposing the desiccant material to a high relative humidity air stream, allowing it to attract and retain some of the water vapor and then exposing the same desiccants to a lower relative humidity air stream which has the affect of drawing the retained moisture from the desiccant.
Some of our models carry the CSA certification.
Ebac are currently working on a program to have a selection of products energy Star rated.
Expect your unit to last up to 8 years, in many cases more.
AHAM, or the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers, defines typical humidity conditions as 80F/60% RH. While saturation is the amount of moisture at 100% RH.
Although many of our HVAC units are “duct Friendly”, none of our units are weatherized, so they can’t be placed outside.
There are a wide range of dehumidifiers available, with models that vary according to capacity, your need, unit placement, and cost. Give us a call at +44 1388 664400 to help you define your needs.
See question 4 for desiccant operation; as far as refrigerant dehumidification is concerned a fan draws moist air through the cold evaporator coil, which cools the air below its dew point. Moisture forms on the evaporator coil and is collected in the condensate tray. The cooled air then passes through the hot condenser coil where it is reheated using the same energy removed during the cooling phase, plus the additional heat generated by the compressor. The air is, therefore, discharged from the dehumidifier at a slightly higher temperature with a lower absolute humidity than when it entered.
There are two major differences, the HVAC models all have humidistats (ability to dial your dryness, and all the C&R models have wheels and handles but no humidistat.
