How a Dehumidifier Works

1. Air is drawn into the  unit by a fan
2. Air passes over a cold surface
3. As the air is cooled, it’s moisture condenses
4. Water falls into the container
5. Air is re-heated by the heat recovery system
6. Air passes back into room 2°C warmer and considerably dryer
7. Defrost system automatically  de-ices unit as necessary
8. Unit switches off automatically when container is full
9. When the unit achieves the selected level of dryness it switches off automatically

The Dehumidifier

EIPL dehumidifiers are effective solutions to environmental control. Designed to control humidity in smaller areas the CD40 is a compact unit that has the capacity to extract up to 15 litres of moisture in 24 hours.

The finned evaporator coil and high efficency rotary compressor both contribute to the 45% increae in extraction and 20% increase in efficency, our the popular CD35 model.

As with all EIPL dehumidifiers, the CD40 unit is built to last with a robust zinc coated steel shell. This unit is ideally placed to tackle the toughest conditions, perfect for the protection of cars, tools and machinery.

The CD40 family are free standing units, their castors and sturdy carrying handle make them easy to move and transport.

Requiring no installation the CD40 is simple to operate once positioned just switch it on, dial in the desired humidity level, and let it get on with the job.

The Status indicator panel, provides a visual indication of the drying process and when the water container requires emptying.
